The role and team:

  • You are the first point of contact for our customers
  • Responsible for handling inbound calls from our current customers enquiring about their internet banking, credit cards or transaction accounts.
  • Customers may contact us with account balance enquiries, to change their internet banking details, report a lost card or make a payment.
  • Following up any issues that arise during a call with a customer.
  • Escalating any calls to other departments if necessary.
  • Providing solutions to the customer's enquiries through your knowledge of the products and services we offer.

 

What you'll bring:

  • Real interest in the banking industry and can communicate effectively with customers.
  • Be driven by a passion to speak to customers, and surpass expectations in helping them achieve their financial goals
  • Be able to navigate through multiple computer systems whilst maintaining a great phone manner and attention to detail
  • Thrives in a high energy, fast-paced & supportive team environment
  • Strong communication skills covering verbal, listening and written capabilities
  • Someone with a great attitude who wants to start their career in banking
  • Previous contact centre & customer service experience will be highly regarded.
