Business Banking Manager – Leave & Relief

Our Melbourne North West & Inner East Team are looking for a Business Banking Manager – Leave and Relief (LR), to join the team to manage a diverse portfolio of SME customers during periods of banker absence due to leave or vacancy. It's an exciting opportunity to develop your skills across a broad range of customers!

NB: Please note it will show advertising at Melbourne CBD, however this opportunity is for Melbourne North West & Inner East. Locations include Werribee, Essendon, Cremorne, Camberwell, Epping and Preston.

In this role, you will

Use your strong commercial acumen and business banking skills to support customers by providing leave cover for bankers.

Work as part of a connected team to support bankers and customers right across Melbourne North West & Inner East, reporting to local Business Banking Executive.

What you will bring

  • Demonstrated experience within business banking and a desire to continue to develop your skills to progress your career
  • Comprehensive understanding of business and commercial practices with emphasis on sales, lending, credit assessment and control experience
  • A commitment to strong risk culture, conduct and compliance risk
  • Strong communication, problem solving and negotiation abilities to enable collaboration with customers, business partners and stakeholders
  • A strong passion for customer service and driving customer advocacy
  • An agile mindset and adaptive leadership skills
