We currently have a permanent opportunity available, to join Internal Audit within the Technology team. The purpose of this role is to support the planning, execution and reporting of Audit activity as set out in the Audit Charter and the annual Audit Plan.
In this role, you will:
- Work collaboratively with business audit teams to assess technology and data related risks and controls which support the execution of key business processes across NAB
- Get to work on cutting edge technology stacks and gain exposure to emerging technology areas such as microservices, API’s and cloud/security related controls.
- Identify escalation events, issues or breaches, whilst adhering to process and procedures pertinent to the role.
- Collaborate to deliver quality audit workpapers, perform walkthroughs and control testing.
- Take targeted action to proactively manage risk and meet all policy and compliance requirements.
What you’ll bring:
- Track record of experience within internal audit risk management or assurance function.
- Experience in assessing and identifying automated business risks and controls across different areas within NAB (e.g. personal banking, markets and treasury, financial crime, corporate and institutional banking).
- Experience working with application technology controls, preferably with API Management/DevOps/Microservices/Application Development in AWS and Azure cloud environments.
- Experience with using data analytics to assess control environment effectiveness through the use of Power BI or alternative tools.
- Passionate about identifying and testing IT application controls (ITAC) and IT general controls (ITGC).
- Proficient in building strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- IT related certification such as CISA, CISM, CISSP or cloud related certifications
- Tertiary qualified, preferably with Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance or IT.
