The success of Proprietary Home Lending is a key focus at NAB and lending careers begin in the Home Lending Hub. As a Home lending Hub manager, you will be a talent magnet for NAB, growing your network to attract the best future pipeline of lenders. You'll coach and mentor them through the initial stages of their lending career to go on to other areas and have a long and successful career at NAB.
In this Manager, Lending Hub role you will:
- Lead a team of Lending Specialists and Associates providing coaching, guidance and support to ensure exceptional delivery of outcomes.
- Manage operational and legislative risk effectively, with a genuine focus on continuous improvement and executional excellence.
- Lead and inspire the team, supporting with building skills and capability, recruitment and onboarding and managing resource span, career development and succession planning.
- Manage team performance and outputs against goals, aligned with the organisational priorities and key performance indicators.
- Assess lender competency and suitability for lender talent pipeline.
- Build strong relationships across the lending business, working collaboratively to achieve goals through internal and external networks.
What you’ll bring:
- Significant experience in banking sales or credit assessment and management and a sound knowledge of banking regulations, practices and procedures.
- Proven coaching and leadership skills outcomes developed within a fast-paced banking team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders to meet objectives and goals.
- Ability to lead/facilitate group discussions and identify business opportunities and implement national strategic plans.
- Exceptional people leadership skills with a track record of building and leading high-performance teams.
